This morning, Queen Letizia was in Galicia, located in the far north west region of Spain. She was there to chair the opening of the annual Directors meeting of the Instituto Cervantes (Cervantes Institute). The Cervantes Institute is a worldwide non-profit organization founded by the Spanish government in 1991. It is named after Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote. It has branches in over 20 different countries with 54 centres.
Her Majesty addressed the delegates and in her speech she highlighted the work of the Cervantes Institute and thanked all those dedicated to promoting and teaching the Spanish language.
Today, Queen Letizia repeated an outfit she first wore during the tour of Mexico last month:
It consists of a Felipe Varela floral skirt and matching blouse, Magrit sandals and Uterque floral clutch. The only difference were the earrings. Today, Queen Letzia opted to wear her ruby cabochon dangle earrings (unidentified).
