King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were in Pamplona on Friday to mark the VI Centenary of the Privilege of the Union.
The Privilege of the Union is a historic treaty that united the three main boroughs that constituted the city of Pamplona in the Middle Ages. It was signed on September 8, 1423, by King Charles III of Navarre. Prior to this treaty, each borough operated as a distinct administrative entity. The Privilege of the Union is widely regarded as one of the most significant documents in the history of Pamplona.
