The King and Queen of Spain are currently on a three-day State Visit to Denmark. Concluding their first day in the Danish capital, Their Majesties attended a gala dinner in their honour, hosted by Queen Margrethe at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
They were accompanied by Prince Frederik, Princess Mary, and Princess Benedikte.
Other guests included a representation of the Spanish delegation, representatives of the Danish Government and other authorities, as well as representatives of the scientific, cultural and business world.
Queen Letizia looked majestic in her fairytale-inspired Felipe Varela tulle gown, a stunning piece she debuted in 2015 when hosting a State dinner for the President of Peru, and worn again in 2017 during a State Visit to Japan.
A look at the back of the gown.
Letizia complemented her regal style with Queen Ena’s Fleur de Lys Tiara, a piece she has worn on a few stately occasions since her first appearance with it in 2017.
This diamond diadem is the most prominent among the tiaras owned by the Spanish royal family. Affectionately referred to as 'La Buena,' or 'The Good One' by the royal family, it is part of Queen Ena's joyas de pasar and exclusively reserved for the reigning Spanish queen.
Queen Letizia also wore one of the joyas de pasar Cartier diamond bracelets.
Tonight she accessorized with Queen Sofia's diamond halo and sapphire drop earrings.
Letizia topped her elegant ensemble with the newly received ‘Order of the Elephant’ badge and star, and pinned the light blue sash with the Ansorena Fleur de Lys brooch and another diamond brooch.
