The Queen of Spain and the U.S. first lady Michelle Obama were reunited today in Spain's capital for a conference promoting girls' education.
Mrs Obama is on the final leg of a three-nation tour to highlight the work of Let Girls Learn, a U.S. government initiative she launched with President Barack Obama. The program is aimed at helping young girls around the world to receive a quality education to help them reach their full potential.
Both the First Lady and Her Majesty spoke about gender inequality and the barriers that keep more than 62 million girls around the world out of school.
Following the conference, Queen Letizia invited Mrs. Obama to Zarzuela Palace where they took a walk through the palace gardens while further discussing the initiative.
Letizia contrasted Michelle's white sundress by Spanish designer DelPozo, with a new bright red frock from French designer Nina Ricci.
The sleeveless dress is rendered in viscose cady and features a sheath silhouette with a rounded neckline, a crinkle construction, and a knee length hem. The french made dress is from the Ricci's Pre-fall 2016 collection and will set you back US$2,690.
