Tonight, the King and Queen of Spain hosted the annual Balearic Islands reception at the Royal Palace of La Almudaina in Majorca. They welcomed hundreds guests from the Balearic community, including politicians, academics, welfare groups and sports personalities.
Their Majesties were joined by Felipe's mother, Queen Sofia. She looked beautiful dressed in a floral tunic pant suit.
Queen Letizia showed off her summer glow in a pretty white Ikebana print frock by Juan Vidal.  This is the first occasion she has sported a piece from the Alicante-born fashion designer. Vidal hails from a tailoring family that spans four generations and has created couture pieces for well known luxury fashion houses.
The silk cap-sleeve dress is part of Vidal's SS 2016 collection, which he showcased at last year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid.
Letizia accessorized with her metallic gold Magrit strap sandals and beige Malababa 'Minihontas' agate leather bag.
She complimented the colours of the dress with a new pair of dangle earrings from one of her favorite jewelers, Coolook.
Tonight's ensemble was more feminine compared to previous years. Here's a look back at some of the outfits Letizia has worn to the annual Balearic Islands reception:
