The King and Queen of Spain received in audience the Spanish Men's Basketball Team at the Palace of Zarzuela to congratulate the national team on their gold medal win at the FIBA World Cup 2019 in China.

Their Majesties were the first to greet the world champions as soon as they landed back on home soil.

The team presented an honorary gold medal to King Felipe and the championship cup.
Queen Letizia showed her pride in the team and sported a patriotic red fit-and-flare frock by Carolina Herrera.
The new cap-sleeve dress is a bespoke design and features a zip down the front and a pleated skirt.
