Her Majesty held a video conference with Confederación ASPACE who reported on the aggravated difficulties of people with cerebral palsy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier in the day, Queen Letizia held a telephone conversation with Her Royal Highness Princess Dina Mired of Jordan, President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). They discussed the challenges facing the international cancer community during the pandemic. The royal ladies have a longstanding working relationship and below are some of the occasions they have publicly met.
King Felipe later joined his wife to converse with the heads of the Ceuta and Melilla hospitals, where they were informed of the current situation.
