The Queen of Spain held a video conference with the heads of the Confederación Española de Personas con Discapacidad Física y Orgánica COCEMFE (Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities) from her home office at the Palace of Zarzuela.
COCEMFE was founded in 1980 to unite, strengthen, and coordinate the actions of entities that work on behalf of people with physical and organic disabilities to defend their rights and improve their quality of life.
During the pandemic, residential centers have remained open, including, most home help and personal assistance services. Day center activities and other specialised services have been suspended, although great efforts have been made to provide services electronically. The heads expressed concern regarding the uncertainty of the labor situation in Spain and for the future employment of people with disabilities. Her Majesty was also informed of the proposals for the immediate future that have been proposed by the associative movement of COCEMFE.
Queen Letizia wore a new green blazer. I believe it may be the Hugo Boss 'Jalesta' Open Front Jacket in Pine Green. It originally retailed for US$445 but is now reduced to $178 at Nordsrom.
