King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia presided over a literary event held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid to commemorate the centenary of the Casa del Libro. The first Casa del Libro was established on Madrid's Gran Vía in April 1923 and currently operates 54 bookstores across Spain.
Following the centenary ceremony, Their Majesties visited the exhibition "100 years of Casa del Libro history", which showcases a chronology of the establishment with a selection of objects and best-selling books over the past century.
