King Felipe and Queen Letizia were joined by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, in Chinchon to attend The Passion Play, coinciding with the 60th anniversary cultural activity linked to Holy Week.

The Easter pageant takes place on Holy Saturday at sunset. It was declared an artistic-religious act of National Tourist Interest in 1980 and is also the oldest Passion Play that is represented in the Community of Madrid, which began in 1963.
