Today, the Spanish royal family chose the quaint town of Sóller for the backdrop of their second photo opportunity while on vacation on the island of Mallorca. Last week they posed for the media outside Marivent Palace, their summer residence in Palma.

They greeted shop owners and stopped to talk to locals as they walked down the cobbled streets.

The family of four spent the morning at the town's main attraction, the Can Prunera. It is a modern museum housed in an art nouveau mansion featuring a permanent collection of contemporary works, and temporary exhibitions by artists who have a connection to Mallorca.

Queen Letizia aired out her Palma closet and retrieved a white cotton dress she first wore on the island in the summer of 2011.

Th sleeveless shift dress is by Spanish fashion designer, Adolfo Domínguez.

She teamed it with her Uterque rhinestone encrusted sandals, also from her Mallorca wardrobe. Letizia first wore them in the summer of 2013.

The young princesses also wore casual summer dresses. Princess Leonor wore a striped flounce dress by Zara (sold out), while Infanta Sofia sported the Mango 'Fabiolap' dress (£19.99).
